The following is some guidelines that if you follow should make everyone's weekend entertaining and enjoyable.
IMPORTANT.
This is a working Farm, please do not go near any of the Farm Machinery, or any of the Stables, and please make sure if you have children they also understand that IT IS DANGEROUS to do so.
Wrist Bands
When you register you will be given a wristband, please wear it always, this is a security measure, plus it will make you feel more part of the Event, and it will make a nice memento. If you are found without your wristband you risk ejection from the event!
Security
We have a very efficient security team working at the event, however you can make their job much easier by remaining vigilant. This is an open campsite and there are several public footpaths running alongside it. However if you see someone not wearing a wristband, and you feel they should not be here please report it to security. Also please keep valuables– money, phones, alcohol etc either locked in your car or on your person. DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR TENT! We cannot be held liable for loss or theft.
First Aid
There will be several first aiders around the camp site. They will be wearing red wrist bands. Please go to reception if you require first aid.
Water
The Site’s water is on a meter, please do not use the drinking water tap to wash plates etc. and do not allow your children to play with it. There are dishwashing facilities available near the toilet block. Please note that uses of water pistols and soap bubbles are strictly forbidden and anyone found using them will have them confiscated. At the moment we are not charged for water used, but this could change if we abuse this facility.
Speed Limit
The camp site speed limit is 5mph please adhere to this always as there are children running about as well as adults.
Children
Please note you are responsible for your children always. While we are a family orient event we are not a crèche, and not here to look after them! Please be aware of their whereabouts always and arrange for a suitable friend to watch over them if you are taking part in an event that would otherwise prevent you from doing so. This is an important safety point, the site backs onto the river Trent.
Animals
Dogs should be kept on a leash always, and it is the owner's responsibility to clear up any mess they make.
Bar B Q's & Open Fires
Bar B Q's must be at least 18" off the ground. Due to crops in the nearby area we regret, that open fires are not allowed.
Noise and Music
Please make sure that the music stops at 11pm, the reason for this is that it is a commercial site, and there will be other campers just the other side of the hedge, who may not appreciate our type of music, even if it is the hedgehog song at one-o-clock in the morning. The owner also lives the other side of the same hedge.
Drink .
While we all like a drink, and at these weekends it is not unknown for some people to imbibe a little too much, please be aware that we will not tolerate unacceptable behaviour, and being drunk is not an excuse. In other words if you cannot handle it, do not drink so much. In the past we have unfortunately had to ask people to leave the event due to offensive alcohol related behaviour.
Rubbish
Black Bags are supplied in your welcome packs that you will receive on registration at reception, should you require any extra bags please ask at reception. Please keep surrounding area of your tents tidy and on leaving put the rubbish bag in the skip provided.
Finally
This is a fun weekend, enjoy yourselves, have a great time, and if you have any suggestions on how to make next years better let me know .
